Terms of Service

Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Serfin mobile application and related services (the "Service") provided by Serfin Inc. ("Serfin," "we," "our," or "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service

Serfin is a personal finance management application. With your consent, we aggregate information about your financial accounts through third-party data providers and present balances, transactions, and insights to help you understand your finances. Serfin reads your financial information; Serfin does not move money on your behalf through our financial data integration.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the United States to use the Service. By using Serfin, you represent that you meet these requirements and that any information you provide is accurate and current.

Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at support@serfin.app if you suspect unauthorized access.

Third-Party Financial Data

Serfin uses Plaid Technologies, Inc. to connect to your financial institutions. By connecting an account through Serfin, you authorize us to access information about that account and you also agree to Plaid's End User Privacy Policy. You may disconnect any account at any time through the app.

No Financial Advice

The information, insights, and suggestions provided by Serfin are for informational purposes only and do not constitute financial, investment, tax, legal, or accounting advice. Serfin is not a registered investment advisor, broker-dealer, or financial planner. You are solely responsible for evaluating any decision you make based on information provided by the Service. Consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
• Attempt to access another user's account or data
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• Use automated means to access the Service except as expressly permitted
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information

Subscriptions and Payments

Certain features may require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store and are governed by Apple's terms. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings. Refunds, where applicable, are handled by Apple in accordance with their policies.

Intellectual Property

The Service and all related content, features, and functionality are owned by Serfin Inc. and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any information provided through the Service is accurate, complete, or current. Financial data is sourced from third parties and may be delayed or incorrect.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Serfin Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Serfin Inc. and its affiliates harmless from any claim, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and request account deletion by emailing support@serfin.app. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or for any other lawful reason. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive.

Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the app or by email. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes acceptance.
